Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding the client base, and strengthening The Quarry’s position in the luxury design and home décor industry. You will lead sales strategy, manage end-to-end client relationships, and ensure profitability while maintaining the brand’s exclusive positioning in the luxury segment.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Operations:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the sales function, ensuring performance excellence and achievement of sales targets.
- Develop, implement, and continuously optimize sales processes, strategies, and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and design teams to deliver an integrated client experience.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
Business Development
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with architects, interior designers, developers, and luxury project consultants.
- Explore new market segments and regions to expand The Quarry’s reach and visibility.
- Conceptualize and implement initiatives for lead generation, client acquisition, and brand collaborations.
- Maintain a strong industry network to stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at luxury industry events and maintain a visible presence in the premium home décor community.
P&L and Financial Management:
- Take full ownership of the P&L for the Sales & Business Development vertical, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the sales function.
- Identify opportunities to enhance cost efficiency without compromising on service quality or brand integrity.
- Responsible for achieving sales targets consistently along with guiding and ensuring the team also achieves their individual targets
Client Relationship Management:
- Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer service that reflects the company’s brand image. Ensure seamless client experience throughout the sales lifecycle
- Oversee key client relationships, including high-net-worth individuals, interior designers, architects etc ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer experience are met throughout the sales process.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular updates to the Founder on sales performance, operational challenges and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed financial and operational reports, including revenue forecasts, sales trends, and P&L analysis.
- Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization to support the sales team’s goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the organization’s overall business growth strategy with innovative and scalable sales initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, creating a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Oversee the training and development of the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills to sell luxury products and deliver exceptional client service.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, logistics etc) to ensure alignment with sales goals.
- Set clear targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and nurture talent for growth.
- Encourage a culture of ownership, creativity, and accountability across the team.
Who qualifies?
Education:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
Experience:
- Proven 10-12 plus experience as Department head in Business Development or Sales or in a senior executive role preferably within luxury home décor, interiors, real estate or premium design industries.
- Proven experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L, and forecasting.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage high-end client relationships.
- Proven ability to identify and convert new business opportunities in a luxury market.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics, and other relevant tools to track performance.

Work Timings:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Half Day)
Sunday (for Sales): If required for the client’s appointments, and the team member will be eligible for a compensatory day off for working on Sundays and other holidays if any
